Ok. So here is our “Creative Lobe” project, a series of interviews developed in partnership with our friends from Decat o Revista. We’ve talked to several creative-minded people from different backgrounds, people who actually use creativity in their work and life and not only talk about it. The aim is to give you some insight on what creativity means, how to be more creative and how to use it in order to be more successful. We’re very sorry we can’t provide any translation right now but we hope that one day we’ll do that for our non Romanian-speaking friends.

Ana Ularu was born on the 26th June 1985, in Bucharest. 2+6 = 8, that is her lucky number. Ana is superstitious and with every project she gets involved in, she develops habits that she relentlessly holds on to: she dresses the same for the make-up before the show, she eats the same cookie and sleeps with a book under her pillow. She’s been acting in plays and movies since she was little. She sings with Sunday People for approximately two years.

She also paints, though she’s too self-critical to make her work public. Starting the 1st April you can see her in “Periferic”, playing Matilda, a prisoner released for one day, in which she tries to finish her business with the past and flee the country. Ana also appears on the cover of the most recent edition of Decat o Revista.

We would like to thank our friends from the Commitet studio, and Radu Apetroaia, one of the most practical minds in photography that we know. And, of course, we’d like to thank once again the kind team of Decat o Revista for their involvement and the good ideas they had for this interview.

Inside the Creative Lobe you can find the thoughts on creativity of different people, whether they are good or bad, tall or small, young or old. Whatever the differences might be, there’s something they all have in common, and that is they’re very good at what they’re doing.

While listening to them, we hope, you’ll better understand what creativity means, how you become more creative and see the link between creativity and success.

Enjoy the Creative Lobe and put it to work, otherwise creativity is merely a word.
